I cannot thank the voters of Essex Junction enough for their support and confidence shown in me this election. I will work on the issues discussed this campaign, and I will always listen to you whether you're a resident, business owner, or developer. If you want to be a part of Essex Junction, I am here to listen. Then, I will work hard to create outcomes that benefit our community. Reach out to me via email, voicemail, or share during public forum. We need all these voices at the table and sharing their vision. Thank you for putting your trust in me. Why me and why now?

Why me?

I have been an Essex Junction resident on and off for over 15 years. I moved to Essex Junction with my family for the excellent schools. But after living here for their school years, I came to understand that while the schools are amazing, the community is why I kept returning.

My wife and I are originally from the Chicagoland area. We are used to the big city but after convincing her to move to Vermont, we ended up buying a home in Essex Junction. This is now our home and our community.

Why now?

I was a supporter of merger and then I was a supporter of separation. Both options were about strengthening our community and I am proud to have been a part of both. But what I did realize post-separation is that there is so much more to do. While we transformed into a City overnight, so much is left to be done to fulfill our vision for Essex Junction.

Being a City Councilor will allow me to participate in a way that goes beyond my single vote. I will be able to engage with my neighbors and work with them to create our new City. This is an exciting time, and I am up for the challenge.
